Milled Linseed & Yacon Shortbread Stars

Milled Linseed & Yacon Shortbread Stars

 

Ingrediets:

 
  • 125g butter
  • 4 Tbsp Of The Earth Superfoods Yacon Syrup (or to taste)
  • 90g Gluten Free plain flour
  • 90g Of The Earth Superfoods Milled Linseed
  • 1 handful Pecan Nuts, chopped

Method:

 
  • Heat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5
  • Beat the butter and the Yacon Syrup together until smooth
  • Stir in the Gluten Free flour and Milled Linseed to get a smooth paste
  • Turn on to a work surface and gently roll out until the paste is 1cm/½ in thick
  • Cut into stars (or whatever Christmas cutter you have to hand) and place onto a baking tray
  • Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden-brown
  • Set aside to cool on a wire rack
